Seasoned homeworkers are welcoming the latest addition to the technological selection that makes their entrepreneurial lives easier: the Logitech wireless desktop MK710.
Described as facilitating a "comfortable and hassle-free laptop experience", the device is said to be the first keyboard-and-mouse combination boasting battery life of up to three years for the keyboard and mouse alike.
"Laptops are great for mobility, but are not the most effective solution for staying comfortable and productive throughout the time you spend on your computer," comments the manufacturer's Yehia Oweiss. "The Logitech wireless desktop MK710 combines several features that help you get the most out of your laptop, no matter where you're using it."
Showcasing a cushioned palm rest and Logitech's Incurve keys that support the shape of your fingertips and help guide your fingers to the right keys, the keyboard also includes an LCD dashboard providing an at-a-glance status for Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Num Lock and battery life.
To achieve three years of battery life, Logitech's advanced wireless technology transmits information much faster and more efficiently than typical wireless systems. By reducing the amount of time the keyboard and mouse remain in active mode when left idle, it also conserves power and minimises lag when workers resume typing or using the mouse.
